We had the OtterBox Defender before and she preferred this one and loves the color.

Love the color but the backing on the inside case was already ripped when I received it

The purple is a great color - still dark enough to blend in the professional world but different enough that you can find your phone!The only quibble I have is the lack of screen protection for the X, but you can always add a screen protector on your own.

Excellent case, Love the color, and it is incredibly sturdy.

I like the color, but I do not like it doesn't have screen cover.

Up until now, I have shied away from Otter Boxes due what I considered to be exorbitant prices

Very reliable especially for a teen would recommend and a very good price too

No other case protects a phone as well as the OtterBox Defender.

Had an OtterBox Defender on my iPhone X and switched to an OtterBox Commuter

n’t know it had cracked until I saw it near the circle part on the back

A little bulky with the clip attached but still a great product!!

Delivery was quick but the product was damaged during assembly

I do not recommend this product at all you can see the pictures for belt holster

The included belt clip is handy but does tend to pop off my belt occasionally as I twist and turn.

This is a great case to protect your iPhone X - highly recommend.

And my iPhone X has survived multiple falls in this case.

The case is a little pricey comparing to other cases, but it's so worthed to protect an expensive phone.

If you need a case to protect your phone this is the one.

It ruined the touch quality of the phone and has a horrible habit of catching lint, dust and dirt between it and the screen which created a major risk for damage

I purchased a quality tempered glass screen protector, and that seems to provide complete protection.

This is my third OtterBox and I am pleased to announce that their excellent quality has not diminished

No built in screen protector like the old defender cases

Then again, there was always the Commuter if you didn't like the Defender's screen

It still is the traditional rubber over the hard plastic and think and durable for the back and corners

Some cases force you to stress the plastic and potentially scratch your phone as you force the phone into the frame

Great case, fits perfectly on my iPhone and the rubber hugs the plastic

I replaced them frequently because the hard plastic would always break

The "hard plastic" is soft (or pliable) enough that it doesn't break everytime I drop it

The Genius Bar at Apple stores will trouble shoot any problem anyway and you have a full year warranty when you buy one.

When it comes to protecting my iPhone from accidental drops, I always trust Otterbox

The case absorbs drops very well, is pretty stylish, but the part that covers the lock part of the phone kind of squishes, and doesn't always function properly

I've always owned these cases and have never busted a phone after many nasty drops

It squeaks every time you squeeze the phone in your hand.

He’s dropped his new iPhone numerous times and it has not cracked or broken off at all

So every time you take the phone from off of the belt clip (which is very often throughout the day), you have to wrestle with the rubber cover to get it probably seated back to the inner case

great case, i highly recommend this, I already dropped my IPhone X 3 times and i am glad the case was on it saved my phone

It thoroughly protects my investment with my iPhone X as I have dropped it several times on concrete floors at work, cringed when bending down to pick it u, and have been pleasantly surprised to see no damage to my phone.

Otter box offers a screen protector for $17 and it has several negative reviews ,

I've read a few early reviews for this products giving it abysmal ratings for having no screen protector, but they fail to recognize the trends in smartphone insurance measures like TG screens
