I haven't really used a tempered glass on it yet as, quite frankly, I haven't found a good tempered glass for the S8+.

I always felt that the magnet wasnt reliable and I should look for one that has a snap button or something more secure to close the flap or go back to expensive tempered glass screen protectors.

I really like the strada series because it covers the front of the phone but leaves the glass free

It protects the glass, with a convenient pocket for your ID and card

to me it's well worth having a legitimate screen covering over that huge piece of expensive glass when putting the phone into a pocket, taking it out, setting it down somewhere, etc

The case allowed me to apply a 3rd party tempered glass screen protector, surprisingly
