Other wise, love the design and light out put, although I did change the bulb to a soft white as the florescent light bulb it came with was too institutional for my liking.
The light is a very bright clear white that does not alter the colors of items underneath
it is clear bright white and it really helps me see what I am doing

I like the design of the lamp, I just wish that the neck of the lamp was adjustable where you could raise the lamp a little higher.
It is also a nice design, aka looks sleek, and is easy to adjust.
Good design bad bulbs.
Other wise, love the design and light out put, although I did change the bulb to a soft white as the florescent light bulb it came with was too institutional for my liking.
So, it is still a nice design, but the lamp slides down and tightening it with a coin harder has scratched up the slot to turn, so I can never put it down
I love these lamps, the lights are terrific, but they tip over easily (I have 2 different ones) and the skimpy plastic base and arm tip over, breaks easily
All tightening did was damage the cheap quality plastic
The fold up light portion doesn't stay up, even when I tried to tighten the cheap plastic screw on the side

The bulbs are great but most have proprietary connections and can't be used in a different lamp.
Edit - took apart the switch assembly and found a bad solder connection
It works only sporadically, and it appears it is either the switch or a loose connection.
