I should say that no stainless steel pot or metal of any kind is completely resistant to rust, anyone who has ever worked with metal knows this

I recommend getting some soft steel wool and nitrile gloves and scrubbing the interior with dish soap before your first use.

I have a larger electric kettle ( Cuisinart CPK-17 PerfecTemp 1.7-Liter Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle , but the traditional spout pours very quickly and tends to overwhelm my  Bodum Coffee Maker, Pour Over Coffee Maker with Permanent Filter, Black Band, 34 Ounce

The quality of the stainless steel used for the spout is different from the the stainless steel used for the body.

Not to mention its fully stainless steel interior.

There is some discoloration at the bottom even though I don't have hard water, so it's definitely not the highest quality stainless steel, but no rust thus far, so ok for me
