OXO Adjustable Temperature Kettle, 2.3, Silver

    • It has a very elegant look to it with the stainless steel and the goose neck spout
    • I should say that no stainless steel pot or metal of any kind is completely resistant to rust, anyone who has ever worked with metal knows this
    • Stainless steel interior which does get
    • This is something I'd recommend doing before using ANY new stainless steel kettle; it has nothing to do with this one in particular
    • I needed a high quality gooseneck to make coffee over pourThe water boils fast, the temp retains the last temp, used, no plastic inside the kettle, all stainless steel
    • Otherwise I would give it a 5, but rusted stainless steel is a no go
    • The stainless steel has no plastic parts exposed to water
    • I liked its balanced weight in my hand, its stainless steel construction, and its spout design (making it easy to do pour-over coffee)
    • Too utilitarian with its rough brushed stainless steel and thick rubber handle
    • Too utilitarian with its rough brushed stainless steel and thick rubber handle
    • Otherwise I would give it a 5, but rusted stainless steel is a no go
    • It looks good and its solid steel and OXO reliability will last for
    • 18/0 is the cheapest of the stainless steels.
    • I recommend getting some soft steel wool and nitrile gloves and scrubbing the interior with dish soap before your first use.
    • The stainless steel metal has a beauteous sheen.
    • Most of the innards are made of stainless steel and that should be good for long product life
    • I probably looked at all of the electric gooseneck kettles on Amazon and I am glad I settled on this one because is has precision temperature control, is all stainless steel, and it looks attractive on my countertop
    • The kettle is made of stainless steel and it seems pretty solid in construction
    • In contact with the water... it’s all stainless-steel in the pot, save a tiny silicone ring around the thermostat probe
    • I ordered another pour-over kettle, different brand, supposedly also with similar features (gooseneck for pour-over, stainless steel, keep-warm feature, several temperature settings) & less expensive to boot, but I was sorely disappointed: keep-warm feature did not work, balance was poor, and I found its various buttons to be complicated and confusing
    • I have a larger electric kettle ( Cuisinart CPK-17 PerfecTemp 1.7-Liter Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle , but the traditional spout pours very quickly and tends to overwhelm my  Bodum Coffee Maker, Pour Over Coffee Maker with Permanent Filter, Black Band, 34 Ounce
    • The quality of the stainless steel used for the spout is different from the the stainless steel used for the body.
    • Not to mention its fully stainless steel interior.
    • There is some discoloration at the bottom even though I don't have hard water, so it's definitely not the highest quality stainless steel, but no rust thus far, so ok for me
