It heats evenly, has enough of a lip to catch grease and other liquids, good non-stick surface.

Even though it is dishwasher safe, we always wash this pan by hand, which is a piece of cake with its incredible non-stick surface.

It also has a nice slippery surface, which did not diminish by washing in the dishwasher, which I love.

Edit 2020:: this pan has warped so badly there is very little surface actually touching the cook top.

No need for oils or butter due to the great non-stick surface
