My 4 & 5 year old can easily use this paper and the well-spaced lines to learn how to write their numbers and letters.

Just good, lined paper

For very beginning writers who write very big letters, the 1/2 inch space between the top and bottom lines may not be enough, but once the children can write their letters, the 1/2 inch space is perfect.

The paper is thin, but the lines are nice and dark with good spacing.
