After several instances of losing the nuts (and a bolt), I have gone around them all, using superglue to lock the threads, and in some cases used replacement longer bolts

Well, the nuts and bolts that hold the stands together come loose over time, even though the nuts are supposed to be locking type

As mentioned by others, be sure to use the PIN through the hole as your basic support tighten the nut just to keep solid

The nuts holding the leg supports vibrate loose and fall off.

So now not only are the constant lose nuts/bolts at the bottom a pain, one of the stands is broken

The nuts are loose because the brackets need to move freely when adjusting the height for the legs

I've used these stands just once, the second time I got ready to use them the hex nuts used to stabilize the tripod legs to the main pole were missing
