Stands are sturdy yet light weight, the only issue I had was taking the speaker off ... the entire top tube came out, not because I didn't tighten the hand nut, but because the entire plastic part wasn't glued and came off.

I like the light weight for traveling

Once I reassembled them they could hardly support the weight of a light speaker.
