If you want good shots with little fuss - look elsewhere

The one downer is that the lens is not too fast, so resolution suffers in indoor low light conditions unless flash is used, though it will take great handheld night shots!

The 30x optical zoom and Leica lens makes for some incredible shots.

The LCD is helpful for waist level shots and acts as a sort of angle bi-pod when you place the camera down for more stable shots (if you don't have a tripod for example)
