I absolutely love this phone system.

Many design improvements made over previous generations: no bright blinking yellow LED when there's a message on the answering system (blinking nightlights are bad), a "call block" button on each handset and the base unit to easily cast telemarketers into the seventh circle of telephone hell where they belong, a bigger display that's much easier to read using older eyes, a better menu system, the main base is automatically powered by the inserted handset battery if needed so that you can actually use the phone during a power outage (for cordless phones this is a very big improvement!), five handsets instead of four, and smaller power bricks for the charging stands take less room on the power outlet or strip.

The Panasonic has a difficult menu system.

But IF you want a great system for your home landline phone, THIS is a great option and I highly recommend it!
