• Reviews around bass (3.51 of 5)

Panasonic SC-BTT190 Energy Star 5.1-Channel 1000-Watt Full HD 3D Blu-Ray Home Theater System (2013 Model)

    • Good product has loud bass and crisp sound quality, it turned off by itself
    • The bass was a slight bit louder and the actually tweeters were louder as well but not enough to keep them over the tall boys
    • Don't get me wrong, the bass is good but there could always be more
    • Great the sound is phenomenal true bass and all around great Theatre system!
    • The sound was clear but for my theater room it wasn't enough power or bass
    • With the older technics receiver they pushed the bass really well but with these newer av receivers they bass terminal is
    • Powerful bass
    • Good bass and good midrange' of course its not true surround
    • Pro: clear vocals, deep bass, plenty loud, great fit & finish, and is good for small roomsCon: limited connections and no volume indicatorinputs/outputs: HDMI(ARC), HDMI, and Optical
    • The bass on the lg wasn't as good as this Panasonic's model
    • The Bass in this is not like my 10 year old one I purchased from Walmart, but I love the blue-ray so...
    • If you don't want "surround sound" and just want great clear sound, nice bass and can get very loud in a compact home theater system, I think this panasonic system delivers especially for the low price
    • You won't confuse the sound for a true surround sound experience, and the bass isn't going to knock anything off your walls, but it's great in a small room, and even in a large room should be an exponential leap in sound quality over TV speakers alone
    • No scratchy bass
    • The good stuff!!!- INCREDIBLE bass from a non powered sub woofer.-
    • It supplies good bass and it doesn't drown out the vocals which I have heard from some shoddy samsung home theater system
    • Terrific sound through out the highs and lows with good bass.
    • The bass would boom, but it also seemed to lack undistorted frequency response.
    • The bass is louder in the next room even more so than it is in the room the speakers are in
    • the bass could have been louder
    • You won't confuse the sound for a true surround sound experience, and the bass isn't going to knock anything off your walls, but it's great in a small room, and even in a large room should be an exponential leap in sound quality over TV speakers alone
    • separated or one-piece)Cons:-Only volume is displayed on the compatible TV (no bass, dialog levels)-Unnoticeable mid-freqs regarding sound (I hear highs and lows, not much in between.. thus doesn't provide a FULL/balanced sound)-While bass is noticeable, it's not very punchy even at the highest setting, which would be nice for action movies (has more of a "gentle" bass presence)-Sound bar lacks features, such as: sound effects (e.g., 3D surround, gaming, music), automatic sound balance (i.e., balancing between sound levels of TV shows and commercials),-Sub is wired-only (wireless version cost much more)-No bluetooth
    • The sound is crisp and the bass is amazing, maxium volume on the DVD player and karaoke machine and there is no loss of sound
    • I bought this for a friend at work, He seems to really like the bass and everything
    • The bass is really well when playing games and only good when playing movies
    • I was looking for a cost effective way to add some bass and improved sound versus the speakers in my Westinghouse TV
    • I actually had to turn it down at some areas because the bass was vibrating the floor and
    • The speakers are loud and clear, and the sub delivers powerful bass.
    • Love the bass and the sound clarity on this system.
    • Someone made a comment that this system has good bass....that may have been an understatement
    • i have some minor issues, but figured out how to adjust bass and sound range which have improved quality.
    • Unlike some systems in this price range where the bass sounds like a car stereo
    • so it's important that I get good CLEAR bass out of a sound system
    • The unit was cheaply made, cheap flimsy speakers and weak bass
    • Good product has loud bass and crisp sound quality, it turned off by itself
    • crisp clean sound, subwoofer could be bigger, but still puts out some solid bass.
    • I try for better bass, but it will NOT be with Panasonic.
    • The bass is unbelievable for such a 'small' sub
    • The subwoofer is no where near as powerful as the one I use for my home theater system but give off good enough bass that it is still noticeable for crashes bangs and booms
    • The bass is adjustable and it ranges from level 1-4
    • On the highest bass setting, vibration is noticeable when the movie audio has bass (i.e., you can feel it)
    • The unit does not reset when you turn it off so once you find the right bass and treb, its just a matter of controlling the audio level by ear (which anyone can do if you are listening to this in the first place) I would recommend this if you can find it for 150 or less
    • You can mess around with it as I did but keep it all at 0.00 trust me
    • I bought this all-in-one blu-ray/amplifier/radio because I live in an apartment and want a compact, dead-simple unit to watch TV, Netflix, and AppleTV shows with, as well as to stream music from my iPhone with.
    • I have 3d cinema surround as my selection as well as for 2 channel
    • Some minor quibbles with menus, remote is small in size so hard to use given all that is packed into it, but overall the system well integrates its own multiple content inputs (Blu Ray, streaming, I-Pod) and sound output for those inputs as well as for TV and other external inputs.
