Panasonic SC-BTT190 Energy Star 5.1-Channel 1000-Watt Full HD 3D Blu-Ray Home Theater System (2013 Model)

    • User friendly easy access to everything available really fits like a glove with a smart tv
    • I pad, connect to WI-FI to watch netflix, TV channel apps like a smart tv
    • HDMI ARC outlet makes sound connection to modern tv's easier
    • The apps in the Blu-ray make my regular TV like a smart TV.
    • Although both the TV and the Blu-ray player are 3-D capable, I haven't tried a 3-D movie as yet.
    • i like to kill the tv as it heats up the whole
    • still have it hooked up to my smart TV don't expect very super loud
    • This is a very moderately priced item, but only minimally improves on the sound the TV (Sharp Aquos 47") itself provides.
    • I mainly bought this product to improve the audio from my smart tv
    • CDs, Youtube all sound great at about 35, but the TV is just o.k. and lacks the power you would expect, feels like it is in Granny mode
    • Last Christmas, this was a "big" gift that I asked for after purchasing a new big LED TV
    • It's a good system for what we need, watching the occasional movie and our favorite TV shows.
    • I might be challenged using the Vierra link I can't seem to get my Roku box to work with the sound bar but this thing sounds great and I have it running through the Direct TV box that all works
    • Unlike the previous system, though, it will not play sound from my non-ARC compatible TV
    • I just wanted better sounds than my new Panasonic 55" LED TV was able to deliver by itself.
    • When I turn my TV on or off, this unit is automatically turned on/off and the TV remote (as well as the Panasonic TV Remote 2 app for iOS) controls the unit as well
    • My tv recently died and I replaced it with Panasonic TC-P60ST60.
    • if you have a smart tv this will work for you.
    • separated or one-piece)Cons:-Only volume is displayed on the compatible TV (no bass, dialog levels)-Unnoticeable mid-freqs regarding sound (I hear highs and lows, not much in between.. thus doesn't provide a FULL/balanced sound)-While bass is noticeable, it's not very punchy even at the highest setting, which would be nice for action movies (has more of a "gentle" bass presence)-Sound bar lacks features, such as: sound effects (e.g., 3D surround, gaming, music), automatic sound balance (i.e., balancing between sound levels of TV shows and commercials),-Sub is wired-only (wireless version cost much more)-No bluetooth
    • Great for sound and goes perfect with my new smart TV
    • Goes excelent with the 55" LED 3D Slim TV
    • Though I do believe that the sound is as good as, if not better than, any other TV that is in this same category.
    • and there are several shortcomings: TV does not support HDD drive and like all the standard alone TV, the sound effect is not great (please see my review under TV section)
    • Overall, it's a very simple soundbar, will greatly improve the TV's standard speakers, but if you're particular about sound and like some additional features, then this won't be for you
    • This TV blew our old rear projection TV out the door.
    • Big improvement for movie viewing or just listening to Pandora on a smart tv!
    • Great for my lanai TV!
    • Unless you want to go through a bunch of grabbing this remote and that remote I would not recommend this system at least not with my Sharp TV.
    • This unit will serve as a good tv surround sound system or a modest music system for those on a budget.
    • My Son hooked everything up but he run into trouble making this thing compatible with the Sharp TV, I ended up using 3 remotes to makes this thing work.
    • bought recently, works good with my HD SMART SHARP TV, WILL RECOMMEND FOR MEDIUM USAGE,GOOD SOUND QUALITY, FAST STREAMING,EASY TO SET UP ....
    • The unit is Viera Link compatible, my volume adjusts with the panasonic and fios remote, and is labeled 'home theater volume' with the volume bar shown on the screen-The compact size of the sound system-Assembly is straightforward, and the manual is detailed-The voice booster, it helps with the dialogue audio during TV Shows and Movies-The sub sounds crisp and deep, especially for a one floor apartment setup
    • If you can splice wires and figure out how to add cables to make TV audio work and the internet work then it's ok
    • But, by completely disabling VieraLink, I now can't get my TV to output audio over Digital Out to my HT in 5.1.....absolutely brilliant
    • I have it hooked up to a Vizio 60 LED TV and have a Dishnetwork receiver, a Wii player, a Roku, and then the Panasonic, all of the audio goes through the unit and sounds great
    • So now every time I turn on my Sharp Aquos TV, the Viera Link (a feature within the Panasonic) will also turn on the Panasonic, which would be
    • The TV is amazing
    • I don't know enough about audio video components to know if this is due to my tv being arc compatible (i'm thinking so
    • (excuse) to upgrade!Viera link (Panasonic term), allows you to control this home theater system with a compatible Viera Panasonic TV remote.
    • Even with them, though, I imagine one would have to have a new ARC-compatible TV!
    • We have 47inLG 3D Smart TV and we have to say WOW when we watch 3D movies
    • My 6 year old, for instance, knows that he's not allowed to turn the upstairs TV louder than 12
    • Second, It has buttons on the remote to allow TV control as well, but only works if you have a Panasonic TV.
    • This is why I purchased but my tv is not ARC capable.
    • Unit coordinates with my Sharp TV well, automatically turning the TV off/on, turning back on when TV comes on, etc
    • but I wanted some sort of surround sound to enjoy the TV without spending to much on a receiver, speakers, etc
    • I recently bought a 80" Sharp TV, so I thought I would buy a good sound
    • I bought this for our bedroom as we are watching more tv in there lately and our home theater system would be wasted in a room like that
    • if those still aren't enough, then buy a laptop or use the one you have and run an HDMI cord from it to the TV cause it's the best you're gonna get without a smart TV...LOL at you too
