Panasonic SC-BTT190 Energy Star 5.1-Channel 1000-Watt Full HD 3D Blu-Ray Home Theater System (2013 Model)

    • As this is a network ready unit, notwireless, network set up was as easy as running another CAT5 from the router to the system
    • The unit really shines during playback of movies I thought
    • I'm satisfied that this unit delivers what it promised - improved sound on a Viera link equipped television
    • All in all, a very nice unit for the price.
    • This unit may be great in a larger room in a house where you can really crank the volume
    • Good BluRay playback and remote unit is small and slick
    • It is a perfect match for Pan plasma vt50 , very nice unit , good sound and tech ability as as wfi and docking
    • EXCELLENT UNIT, REPLACED A SONY HOME THEATER WHICH COST MORE AND SUCKED AS
    • This unit smokes it
    • This unit says its WiFi ready but is VERY misleading
    • We love the unit.
    • This unit is great for a mid-size room
    • It also will not play .ISO files, it looks like the Western Digital Live is the only unit that will, but it has had very troubling reviews in regards to stability and operation
    • When I turn my TV on or off, this unit is automatically turned on/off and the TV remote (as well as the Panasonic TV Remote 2 app for iOS) controls the unit as well
    • Great" have a brand new unit and it is out of warrenty
    • I listened real close when I first started the unit and I could not hear the cooling fan running, I believe this is why my unit is overheating
    • Overall: The unit works well with new Panasonic Viera TV
    • My unit was defective, but I would not have this system in perfect working order
    • I coupled this unit with a 55" GT50 and the Viera Link worked seamlessly.
    • Can now say I love this unit, great value for the money.
    • It is a perfect match for Pan plasma vt50 , very nice unit , good sound and tech ability as as wfi and docking
    • I bought this all-in-one blu-ray/amplifier/radio because I live in an apartment and want a compact, dead-simple unit to watch TV, Netflix, and AppleTV shows with, as well as to stream music from my iPhone with.
    • The unit worked pretty well when I had uverse
    • Connections were a breeze and the unit looks nice
    • 12 monthsRecommended for folks looking for a more inexpensive unit that will get light to moderate use.
    • This unit does not work with RGB connectors
    • This unit is not worth it.
    • For the money it is a good unit.
    • The unit is small which I like, the speakers are small as well about 3" wide maybe 5" tall and about 3"
    • I have successfully played MP4 and MKV files (encoded with Handbrake using the AppleTV 3 defaults), but if you like subtitles (anime), this unit will fail you in that
    • Reasonable clarity, range and definition but not to the level of a (more expensive) separates unit.
    • Overall, for the sound the system delivers, and the price, I would recommend this unit.
    • When I got my first unit one of the speakers was defective - it had a constant buzz in the background
    • It's a good unit.
    • We laid the sound bar horizontally in front of the TV and it does not block the signal from the remote (as some people warned) but this unit is great in that if you do have that problem you can split the bar and put one half on each side.
    • I bought this all-in-one blu-ray/amplifier/radio because I live in an apartment and want a compact, dead-simple unit to watch TV, Netflix, and AppleTV shows with, as well as to stream music from my iPhone with.
    • the units were compact perfect for my rooms
    • This is a basic unit, maybe worth the price, but I would advise spending more and getting a more complete home sound system.
    • The only reason it didn't get five stars is because the unit is slow to process
    • This is a nice little unit for a small to medium sized room
    • So if you wanted the kit to compliment this unit it would be $450 which is still a really good priced compared to it's competitors
    • The unit itself functions well, and is very easy to operate
    • The best system I found was the Samsong Smart Home Theater unit
    • This unit is easy to setup though and does everything that it says it can
    • Going by the other reviews, however, it appears all units have the same problem
    • Too bad the player was faulty, dealing with both customer service and repair is a nightmare, no one calls you back after saying they will, and no one at Panasonic can tell me "if and when" a replacement for the defective unit will be shipped!UPDATE: 11/5/2013We were assigned a mediator-like person by Panasonic and offered a discount to purchase a new unit
    • Overall, this is a fairly inexpensive unit that does what it says.
    • We laid the sound bar horizontally in front of the TV and it does not block the signal from the remote (as some people warned) but this unit is great in that if you do have that problem you can split the bar and put one half on each side.
    • Unit worked great for the first day, then started locking up and losing connection
    • The unit does not reset when you turn it off so once you find the right bass and treb, its just a matter of controlling the audio level by ear (which anyone can do if you are listening to this in the first place) I would recommend this if you can find it for 150 or less
    • All in all I enjoy the unit, once it is powered on it significantly improved over the standard Panasonic TV speaker sound experience
    • well i like no problems
    • Works great for the price i cant complain but not as crisp and clear as i
