Very comfortable to use, great for taking notes and those who write fast, no smudging or slow drying ink, and a nice medium width line makes the writing very easy to read

I don't have to worry about getting the ink of my pinky finger that every left dreads because we drag our hand across the writing surface-the ink dries fast enough so that doesn't happen

They won't bleed, or skip and they have a great ink flow

You can not get a clean ink stroke with these pens, print looks like it was written with a pen about to run out of ink

They write smoothly and the ink is dark.

However, the downside is the ink runs out very fast

I use it for nursing notes in ER, no messy ink spillage or explosions.

Its annoying, and a bummer since the ink is nice and thick, smooth roll on and comfortable grip.

I have been using these for years, and haven't had to deal with an ink explosion or leak yet.

Never knew I could be picky about an ink pen these pens work beautifully

There's a lot of good alternatives like Pilot G2 and Uniball 207, but if you want classic ballpoint ink and feel, these, along with the bold Bic crystals, are the best.

One note: these are ballpoint, not free-flowing ink

Some pens worked fine some that leaked ink about 4 or 5 but they were cheap and had the paper mate name

These are nice pens with good ink characteristics and are comfortable to write with

We bought a set of these for the office, and had to toss 4 of them right out of the box because the ink had all pooled in the tips and was leaking out

The ink is dark and definite, all without bleeding or smearing, which makes life so much easier

Otherwise, the ink is faint and hard to read.

Those Bics had the deepest blues and blacks and wrote the smoothest.....why the expensive ones couldn't get a good ink is a mystery to me

These pens take a lot of effort to write with, your hand will get so fatigued after half a class lecture worth of notes, the ink flow is inconsistent, the ink smudged, and the ink bled out at the end of the ink cartridge in some of the pens

Because I prefer darker ink, I generally use gel ink pens
