As for the colors, they were super nice and the point is fine for writing

By the way, don't be fooled by the pretty colors of the pen casings, these all write in a very fine-point (washable) black ink

The pens are fine point and are all black ink, which doesn’t match the color of the shell of the pen

So these are great pencils because they're sturdy, but if you're addicted to a sharp point, they'll drive you crazy.
