The ink itself is clear and solid on the page

It is regular ink, not liquid ink, so it won't smear on some surfaces like liquid ink pens can(such as signing the back of credit cards)

Super disappointed, the commercials had me, and all the raves from fellow bullet journal enthusiasts these are not super smooth ink, and some of them barely write, not as vibrant as advertised.

Always have used paper mate, smooth ink flow, easy to write, they wrote in anything, would definitely buy again!!

They write smoothly but the ink comes out / shows chunky sometimes

If the pen is placed with the tip facing up, the ink tends to leak out and gets all over the inside of the barrel

They call it "ultra smooth ink" and that's a good description of it.

Very comfortable to write with because of the triangular base, but the ink doesn't dry fast and it smudges and is inconvenient when your trying to highlight

These ballpoint pens with medium point and black ink are advertised as having "ultra smooth ink

Considering these retractable ballpoints write smoothly and with strong, clear blue ink, they're good value.

also, days later i tried to fix it and noticed the ink began leaking????

Awesome pens- solid ink colors are great and the pens never cut out

It writes like a fine ink pen but leaves no ink spots.
