On the color range, I rate it as BLUE that I call an INTENSE DEEP BLUE

It looks like dark blue

This ink works well in my new Parker Sonnet pen and it's a brighter blue than I've seen with my Waterman fountain pen and the midnight blue ink.

Lovely dark blue ink that can be diluted with just a bit of water to become a very vivid bright blue if that's what you prefer.

Flows well, a very nice dark blue, and cleans very easily.

It is a little dark blue not exactly black

This ink is a nice color, though it's not an extremely dark blue

My opinion is that it is not a super dark blue, but plenty dark enough

I have not actually used these cartridges , but I have used the washable blue in the past and liked them.
-
Nice color; a gentle blue, not bold
-
Personally, I prefer a SUPER black "looking" ink, and Quink Black has a bit of shadowing with dry nibs and fast writing that makes it feel like a very very very dark blue at times
