It is well-behaved on bad paper, although Sheaffer Skrip Blue (newer formula from Slovenia) is better for two-sided writing on bad paper
-
I have not yet tested it's permanency, but it writes well and does not bleed through even cheap paper unless applied to thick
-
It is a washable ink, that is fast drying and reasonable on poorer paper
-
I've tried this ink on regular notebook paper, slightly rougher brown paper, kraft-style brown wrapping paper, and a page from an inexpensive pencil sketch pad; in every case there has been no appreciable bleeding or blurring of lines, and (except for one spot where the fountain pen leaked) no appreciable bleed-through
-
It is well-behaved on bad paper
-
I use cheap paper, and don't like expensive fountain pens
-
However, one thing to note is that this blue tinge only is obvious on warm-colored off-white paper (creamy like Moleskine)
-
This is a must for fountain and dip pens with modern recycled paper as all other inks will bleed and feather.
-
I usually write on good thick paper and don't write that much, so bleeding through is not an issue and the ink dries quickly enough to avoid smudges.
-
This is of course not permanent (the bottle says washable) and it does bleed through cheap paper a bit although not as bad as most blue inks I have used (like Waterman).
-
It does not feather except on the cheapest papers on which any other ink would do the same
-
Parker dries quickly; I don't have to worry about accidentally touching the paper and smearing my previously written words
-
It is quick drying and behaves well, even on cheap notebook paper.
-
My experience has been that all blue inks bleed through cheap paper.
-
It looks watery while writing, and bleeds and feathers like mad on all but the most expensive paper
-
It is a good, basic black with no notable undertones of other colors noticeable on decent paper.
-
I love how it helps my pen glide even smoother and it will not run or trespass to the other side of any paper, cheap or expensive
-
Doesn't feather on most cheap paper, acceptable dry-time, and very little bleed.
-
it has noticeably less feathering and less bleed-through than other inks, meaning this is a good ink for using on cheap paper.
-
It is a nice blue color, cleans up easily and writes a medium wet line with no bleed through or shadowing if used with fountain pen-friendly paper.
-
Using it on cheap paper (Field Notes
-
With a fine nib, it doesn't bleed through even cheap notepad paper
-
It is fairly well-behaved on bad paper
-
Using the more expensive paper is no guarantee of improved performance, though
-
Slightly dry flow, but that's a good thing when you write on crappy paper
-
It is well-behaved on bad paper.
-
Makes a good practical ink if you are using cheap paper.
-
The first paper I wrote a sample on was cheap, warm-toned journal paper, and the second sample I wrote was on higher quality paper (not made for fountain pens, but still, sketch/drawing paper)
-
For one, it barely feathers even on cheap loose leaf paper, so I wouldn't have to worry about finding a good paper to write with this ink
-
Make sure to use the good quality paper, otherwise it spreads out and writing looks hideous
-
When it's used on smoother paper like Rhodia's papers, it dries up to a matte-looking finish.
-
Does what it is need to do stain the paper with the letter I make
-
The black lays nicely and works well on copy paper as well as higher end paper such as Rhodia and tomoe.
-
This ink wasn't nearly dark enough, but at the very least I plan to keep it handy when writing on cheap paper so I don't have to worry about bleeding or feathering
-
We use cheap paper at work
-
I tried the ink on one of my bright white sketch papers, and it looked excellent, very pigmented and undeniably black
-
For one, it barely feathers even on cheap loose leaf paper, so I wouldn't have to worry about finding a good paper to write with this ink
-
With a good medium nib you get a very bold, strong line that handles all different papers well
-
Likewise, I found that even on cheap paper it did not bleed through to the back
-
Very P!eased with every aspect of purchase.
-
Dries very quickly but not as dark as I would like.
-
The pen scratched more as if there wasn't a good flow of ink.
-
I use this with my Jinhao X450, and Bulow X750 pens, as well as with my dip pen
-
I personally love this feeling, as it allows more artistic expression when using the Parallel Pens
-
I use it to write on regular college ruled paper as well as in notebooks for taking class notes
-
the packaging wasnt as pretty as in the picture but its the same thing
-
I immediately installed it in my fountain pen and it works as it is supposed to.
-
great as always
-
Looks like blue ink, works as it should, no issues.
