PARKER QUINK Ink Bottle, Blue-Black, 57 ml

    • ...boiled out the nib in hot water - and it works like a champ!!!!
    • It has a great feel...quite light with a great nib.
    • Right now I'm using it in my Jinhao 601 with a fine/medium nib
    • Very rarely, however, the nib gets a little dry when you are half full or less, but you actually can just twist the handle a few times with the nib upward and you're back in the game
    • It is indeed black and it is used in a fine nib fountain pen with no issues
    • With fine nibs i find it to be more of a smoke grey
    • Ink flows smoothly out of a fine nib in a Lamy Safari onto a Moleskine
    • Had no trouble inking up my 2 fountain pens, a jinhao 1200 (medium nib) and a jinhao 301 (fine hooded nib)
    • With a good medium nib you get a very bold, strong line that handles all different papers well
    • And I have never had a problem with ink flow provided, of course, that I cleaned the nib periodically and washed out the barrel
    • Ive included a picture to give a better idea.this doesnt clog my nibs, and is perfect for everyday use.
    • I did a bunch of googling, which indicated that Lamy fine nibs need a faster ink, and one thread I found suggested this ink
    • Lately I have also been using this ink in my Parker Frontier with a fine nib and love the combo
    • It is currently in my pilot metropolitan (fine nib)
    • Only issue I found is replacing the nibs on the pen can be extremely difficult and there is little to no advice online on how to go about doing so.
    • Ink Converter I mentioned in my review of the Parker Vector Red Fountain pen Fine nib, SM50136052.
    • It is good with the fine nib
    • I've used this ink in a couple of pens, a medium nib and a fine nib
    • The finer the nib, the better this ink looks.
    • ...boiled out the nib in hot water - and it works like a champ!!!!
    • With a fine nib, it doesn't bleed through even cheap notepad paper
    • It works nicely William medium or Broad nib.
    • Using this ink with some cheap Jinhao fine nib fountain pens.
    • Parker Quink is easy flowing; it is quick drying and keeps your nib clean
    • Nib clogs
    • Takes a bit to flow into the nib from the converter, and doesn't write well when I write quickly on my fine-nib
    • It lays darker with medium nibs and very light with extra fine nibs
    • Using this ink with some cheap Jinhao fine nib fountain pens.
    • The ink flows smoother (assuming you have a well maintained pen and nib), it doesn't bleed as badly, and it lasts longer
    • The hue and ink fluidity respond to variations in my writing speed, even in extra fine nibs.
    • it doesn't break (I'll be doing this outside)
    • And the quality is not as good as I excepted
