Very rarely, however, the nib gets a little dry when you are half full or less, but you actually can just twist the handle a few times with the nib upward and you're back in the game

And I have never had a problem with ink flow provided, of course, that I cleaned the nib periodically and washed out the barrel

I did a bunch of googling, which indicated that Lamy fine nibs need a faster ink, and one thread I found suggested this ink

Lately I have also been using this ink in my Parker Frontier with a fine nib and love the combo

Only issue I found is replacing the nibs on the pen can be extremely difficult and there is little to no advice online on how to go about doing so.
