dont loose the cap, otherwise awesome flashdrive

I've also always been afraid of losing the rubber cap, but I actually never have over the past years, although there have been some close calls

One hazard is the cap that you can forget to replace and lose, although I've not had that problem yet

The Cap keeps falling off, but that is a minor annoyance for such a great product4/5, would buy again.

It is also ruggedly packaged in a rubberized coating and it comes with a rubber top cap

But the stupid cap is not attached to the flash drive itself

only problem I can find with it is it seems like it would be easy to lose the top of it, but I have not had that problem with it, I always leave the cap on, and the cap has not gotten lose yet

but if your moving from computer to computer installing things I would go with this one.....besides the crappy cap that will be lost in a day that is.

Great for 'rough' environments with their 'padded' enclosure,BUT,due to the material, you can attach any self stick label to the stick with necessary details (bootable, read/write speeds, capacity etc.)The protective cap will be easy to loose

removable cap getting lost is the biggest risk i took with this item.

The drive itself is very nice, fast and stays cool, but the cap is so loose, it will fall off in a matter of days, leaving the port exposed

The cap may get lost, but if you look at the advertised photos of the device, then you can clearly see, or reasonably assume, that the cap is separate from the drive; you knew what you were purchasing in this regard

Patriot designs this thing with an easy to lose cap and they won't replace it for free but refers you to EBay sellers who charge $7 or so for a replacement cap

My only complaints are that the cap is easy to lose and the keychain loop looks easy to rip

One con, the little "loop" on the back will hold the cap when plugged in, but even the slightest bump will knock it loose, and the cap can disappear really easily

When I bought this almost 3 years ago, it was a little pricier than other 256 GB flash drives, but it has proved to be well worth it - I've used this extensively to transfer files between several computers at work, as well as to copy files between work and home, and have never had an issue
