I have a friend with PTSD from serving 2 terms in war... these work GREAT to block out thunder and loud noises that trigger the PTSD

Bose had far superior noise cancelling, but the Paww headphones do cancel some noise and honestly even just wearing the headphones blocks out some noise.

The noise cancelling works very well when flying on commercial jets and when riding on commuter trains.
