pBone PBONE1W Jiggs Plastic Trombone, White

    • Amazing sound
    • Sound is much less brilliant than brass but it sounds like a T'bone for all practical purposes
    • Great instrument with great sound, very excited when it came
    • It also has a very good sound, especially since it's plastic.
    • Excellent sounding instrument
    • For a plastic trombone, the sound isn't that bad, although I would recommend using the regular mouthpiece like some of the experts suggested for better tone quality
    • Admittedly she was an excellent musician - but I was surprised how good the sound was.
    • It has a wonderful sound, is easy to transport, and looks cool (according to him ;))
    • Sound and durability of the instrument is very good
    • But if you want something fun to play that can go anywhere and is durable and with surprisingly good sound... for very little money
    • Your small-bore mouthpiece will fit if you want a little more robust sound for recordings or semi-serious performances, but the attached plastic mouthpiece (same color as the trombone itself) is good enough for casual playing.
    • The pBone bore is smaller diameter than the usual bore expected of an orchestral instrument (but larger than the "pea-shooter" that many beginners start upon), so that its sound is brighter and less sonorous than the orchestral instrument.
    • The instrument has a great sound and sounds exactly like a real trombone
    • The sound on it is great - very comparable to the metal version and is as loud as you would expect from any trombone
    • THese can be great little horns, lightweight, decent sounding and loads of fun.
    • Amazingly nice sound (once the lip de-fuzzes)
    • Given that it is all plastic, it makes a reasonable sound, and I only noticed tuning issues once I got above high Bb.
    • Great instrument for beginners, and student band, great sound, light weight does not dink and scratch easily from everyday use
    • It is not quite as bright as a brass horn, but a smooth dark sound is also quite pleasing
    • The sound on it is great - very comparable to the metal version and is as loud as you would expect from any trombone
    • Instrument constitution is great, sounds great, just as I researched all around
    • And the sound is virtually indistinguishable from a traditional horn
    • The sound on it is great - very comparable to the metal version and is as loud as you would expect from any trombone
    • The sound is great and easy to use.
    • Best value for the money - I have been playing for over 20 years - great sound and super light weight!
    • It is not quite as bright as a brass horn, but a smooth dark sound is also quite pleasing
    • The sound is great...better than I thought it would be!
    • Lightweight, easy to maintain, and has a great sound in all but the really high ranges.
    • The sound is great
    • I'm beginning to get good sound and enjoyment out of it
    • The sound on it is great - very comparable to the metal version and is as loud as you would expect from any trombone
    • Though, it doesn't have quite the same timbre as a traditional trombone, it definitely produces a great trombone sound
    • The sound is great though
    • For a plastic trombone, the sound isn't that bad, although I would recommend using the regular mouthpiece like some of the experts suggested for better tone quality
    • Good sound for what it is, and a fun instrument to have
    • Then pack that instrument away somewhere and enjoy having something colorful that sounds just as good, plays about as well, and weighs less than a clarinet.
    • It has an amazingly decent sound, intonation and range/flexibility
    • The pBone has an amazingly good sound for a plastic instrument
    • Great sound, especially for such a good price.
    • It has a great sound, it's super light, and he seems to have a lot of fun playing it.
    • Excellent sound and feel to this trombone.
    • , we were SHOCKED at how well it plays and how good the sound is.
    • Don't expect the most amazing sound or response and you'll be happy.
    • Blows easy and gives a good solid sound
    • He says the sound is good, the feel is fine once you get used to the lightness of it, and even the mouthpiece isn't too bad
    • Super affordable, light, sounds great,
    • The slide takes some breaking in to eliminate the scratchy sound.
    • The sound is better than you think.
    • I'm finding it gives me a more stable embouchure and really helps me hit the higher notes that I'd always struggled with in the past using a 12C or the 6 1/2 AL.All in all, it's a very playable instrument, sounds great, is exceedingly light, has lots of fun colors, and won't break the bank.
