pBone pTrumpet - The Plastic Trumpet, Purple (PTRUMPET1P)

    • Intonation was quite good, especially compared to the other plastic trumpet brand
    • Pros:Unique, and fun to play - friends love to try itCrazy-light weightDecent soundCons:Not a big deal, but skip the included mouthpieces - noticeable difference with the real thingNot as forgiving, some intonation issuesValves not
    • Played professionally for 50 years, have many excellent horns (Phaeton, Courtois, Conn, H.N.White, Flip Oakes Wild Thing) and played many different styles..not the best intonation, not the best partials, not the best construction (think Tonka) but plays well, sounds good, and is indestructible
    • Intonation is surprisingly good considering the price
    • n’t have to worry about denting or damaging.
