    Pebble Smartwatch Black

    • No connection issues, or dropped connections so far
    • However, I have had constant problems with it losing its Bluetooth connection with my iPhone 6
    • Occasionally I do lose the bluetooth connection with it and sometimes will not repair without deleting it from the phone and then repairing it.
    • This watch is great, no connection issues and has lots of features
    • Plastic and rubber is OK, but watch faces are minimal and connection to Samsung Android Phone is spotty.
    • There are pedometers and sleep monitoring apps available that standalone on the watch (do not need an active connection to your phone) and can work in the background while running other apps (meaning you are always counting your steps)I can easily setup notifications from ANY android app and usually dismiss the notification from my watch (great for setting up reminders).I can reply to texts (with formatted responses) without getting my phone out of my pocket
    • Long battery life, great connection to my Galaxy S4.
    • I've had this two weeks now and have recurring issues maintaining the connection between the Pebble and my iPhone 5S.
    • Whenever the connection fails I have to shut down the watch and restart in order to get the notifications to work again, which happens
    • However, one start knocked off for the incredibly frustrating connection issues that happen when Pebble releases an update
    • On occasion it will lose connection with phone but repairs itself again when in range.
    • If can't count on reliable connection and notifications then this is useless.
    • then it lost the connection to the phone
    • Haven't lost a connection yet
    • But then it'll simply lose the connection again, even when the phone and watch have not been separated
    • In the meantime, I'll just keep dealing with the unreliable connections and screen weirdness
    • I've never lost connection during the day
    • I also notice that sometimes it charges faster when you unplug and re-plug the charger in - I'm wondering if sometimes it doesn't make a good connection
    • Only downside is it will occasionally lose connection with my phone overnight (maybe once a week) and require reconnection, which only takes a minute
    • Love the Runkeeper connection
    • Update - 4/3/2015Everything is still great and I am still getting 8 days per charge, no connection issues to speak of so far.
    • Good battery life, eInk visible in sunlight, easy connection to my iPod Touch 5.0
    • Easy readable e-ink screen under sunlight, long battery life (with the high amount of notification I get, battery runs 3 days - fair enough), light weight, water resistance, good size on small Asian lady hand
    • a thriving apps store that adds much to the watch, a great amount of built-in functionality, a long-lasting battery life, and an amazingly cool e-paper display that works really well in sunlight
    • a thriving apps store that adds much to the watch, a great amount of built-in functionality, a long-lasting battery life, and an amazingly cool e-paper display that works really well in sunlight
    • The e-reader like screen initially delivers good battery life (up to 3-4 days), but the battery deteriorates quickly and the charger is just inexcusably awful, with the magnetic connection coming undone with the slightest touch
    • Additionally, when the Pebble was offered on Kickstarter, the manufacturers bragged that it would have a great e-paper screen, using the technology seen on Amazon’s Kindle and other e-readers
