The Pelican is a bit on the heavy side but the build is very solid and have smooth wheels so no complain

Because I knew that Pelican has a great reputation for protecting any kind of equipment against almost anything short of a nuclear attack, I have truly got to say that this was money extremely well spent.

This is a great Pelican case - small enough to easily store in the overhead compartment while flying, tuff, organized, and portable in airports as a carry on with its wheels and retractable handle for those of us that do not want to check your $10,000 in camera equipment to be tossed around by the baggage handlers.

I have several Pelican Hard cases all manufactured with heavy duty components, tight seals, in this case wheels, etc.

And I really appreciate that Pelican has worked on its latches so they now open and close more smoothly and quietly.

PRO:-Padded dividers work fairly well at protecting camera equipment.-Shell is known-good Pelican design, will outlast the owner.-Wheels roll smoothly.-Handles on two different orientations allow comfortably carrying or lifting.-Lid foam and dividers are NOT glued in place, can be replaced quickly and easy.

Pelican will sell you TSA approved locks as an aftermarket choice

Built - The pelican 1510 case and locks will not fall apart anytime soon and will protect anything inside

(A major design improvement would be to make the dividers out of the soft loop-side material, so any divider could connect to any other surface, including other dividers.)-Dividers come basically tossed into case, need to be assembled by user before use.-If top foam is removed, say, to install the top organizer (Pelican part number 1515), the no protection is offered on the top.
