The ink is a dark, consistent black and you can vary your line thicknesses very easily

The pen itself is durable and looks beautiful (it's at least as pretty in its design as some Pelikan fountain pens), and the ink is not only very solid black but also smear- and bleed-proof on every paper I've tried so far

The ink is super black an after using this pen for just over a month on about 8 small moleskine sized drawings the ink is still flowing shiny an super black

I did not feel like the ink was as black as I wanted however it does make a nice addition to my supplies

It's a nice true black, and I can get very small lines, as well as dark thick lines

and then the ink wouldn't give me a solid black

Nice deep black and of course you can create lovely thick or thin lines with just a slight change in pressure

and it never goes through the page to the back, beautiful deep black, brush is very responsive and give a good variety of lines, cartridges last a good while

great brush pen, i wish the ink was a little darker, but a syringe and a bottle of super black will fix that

This brush works pretty good, but it doesn't lay down the ink as well as it's competitor the Sakura 30067 brush pen

I use it for illustrating comics and drawing as well as for writing in Japanese
