Pentel Arts Pocket Brush Pen, Includes 2 Black Ink Refills (GFKP3BPA)

    • However the tip for my pen was slightly warped when I opened it
    • Best advice I can give is to be patient when waiting for the ink to load into the tip or you may smash the tip down and take away the very fine point of the inking tip.
    • Very black ink, able to do fine tip strokes/lines and also thick lines
    • Consistent flow, durable tip.
    • Tip: Do not panic if the ink doesn't start flowing right away
    • Flow is good, tip is easy to control, and it holds up well for fine details
    • the ink flows smoothly, the tip is perfect, and it is waterproof
    • Its a sensitive tip
    • But this brush pen is fantastic, the tip is very soft and if you are gentle enought you can actually make hair width lines but if you need a thick control line you can really push the tip into the thicknes you need.
    • It's a bit thicker than I prefer, but there are finer tips available I will try.
    • One of the strands were split awkwardly and had to be cut back to keep a clean brush tip
    • It SUPER smooth with a super flexible brush tip
    • The tip is nice in that it isn't too stiff (like prismacolor) or too flexible (like micron).
    • The tip of the brush is sturdy enough allow for very thin lines and flexible enough for broad sweeping lines
    • The tip is like a paintbrush and you are able to get varying line widths
    • The actual tip is really more like a brush and not felt like most other brush pens.
    • Not a perfect brush pen (the tip of mine had a few extra fibers on it that I had to trim), but it works well and the ink flows nicely
    • The tip is fairly fine.
    • It takes getting used to for beginners such as myself who aren't used to using markers/bristle tip-type pens in the first place
    • I love the brush tip!!
    • The ink is great, and the flow is really good, but occasionally the tip of the brush becomes split, and stuck in this position until you press it up against a surface
    • Tip has real bristles (not felt), and ink is waterproof once left to dry overnight
    • Also, because the tip is actual bristles, like a traditional brush, it gives a much nicer line than a felt-tipped brushpen, keeps a nice sharp point, and over time the ink refills are cheaper than buying new felt-tipped pens which tend to dry out
    • holds its tip well, though when the tip starts to split, close the cap, give it a couple of shakes and it will re-hydrate the tip
    • Didn't manage to hold its tip well.
    • 1 copy of this brush pen I bought had a not-quite-perfect tip, which made doing controlled thin lines hard-to-impossible
    • that had a stiffer fiber tip that I could do zentangle art with.
    • Tip is very flexible for thick to thin line work
    • I like the pen, even though the tip makes it hard to draw consistent lines.
    • A much softer tip that I expected, and I have a heavy
    • The tip is so versatile in strokes and the ink is so rich
    • The brush tip on this is amazing
    • Great for manga or comics, works well on any paper, nice dark black ink, bristle brush tip not felt
    • However, unlike regular brushes, brush pens are saturated with ink all the time, which presents a problem: the ink needs to treat the bristles gently, else you will ruin the tip quickly
    • It has a feather tip for light brushing and you can darken it
    • It does have a similar feel to dipping a fine tipped brush in ink w/out the risk of spilling ink!
    • I need to use magnifiers to get the best control of the perfect tip and it hasn't worn down despite some significant use doing art
    • holds its tip well, though when the tip starts to split, close the cap, give it a couple of shakes and it will re-hydrate the tip
    • Also, because the tip is actual bristles, like a traditional brush, it gives a much nicer line than a felt-tipped brushpen, keeps a nice sharp point, and over time the ink refills are cheaper than buying new felt-tipped pens which tend to dry out
    • The tip is like an actual brush
    • The image makes it look like its just a pointed felt tip
    • I really think this pen was a great ut i and I will buy again.
