Pentel EnerGel RTX Retractable Liquid Gel Pen, Extra Fine Line, Needle Tip, Black Ink ,12 pack (BLN73-A)

    • Good ink flow, they look snazzy, and the purple color is awesome
    • The mixture of inks provides a smooth print and I haven't had any problems like encountered with traditional ballpoints where the ink "stopped working"
    • And the purple ink is beautiful

    • I almost hate writing with any other pens, the ink comes out smoothly and even though it's a 0.7 it isn't super thick.
    • Such smooth writing and the ink dries quickly
    • The ink dries so quickly and does not smear at all, even the second you write.
    • Smooth flowing ink that doesn't glob up or come out too heavily on the page (causing smears) - these pens work beautifully for me
    • The barrel is light, the ink is silky smooth, and it dries quickly.
    • The ink dries quickly, does not smear, and rarely goops up on the end
    • It writes very smoothly and the ink is nice and dark
    • These are my favorite ink pens
    • Nice ink flow at all times, no skips, no smudges, no gobs of ink.
    • With other brands .5 can feel a little too fine, like I'm not getting enough ink out with each stroke, but these produce a nice even flow no matter if I'm writing with a lot of pressure or scribbling something down quickly
    • Narrow lines, no smudging, and clean ink flow.
    • The ink itself is great, but the pen barrel is made of cheap plastic and breaks easily
    • The ink, while rich, can sometimes bleed through the thinnest of papers.
    • Ink flows a little more smoothly and I love the needle tip
    • I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves fine ink pens and enjoys the traditional way of hand-writings.
    • Smooth, even ink application
    • And it's for real; the ink won't smear and leave the side of your pinky/
    • I can't even calculate how much money I have spent on these pens over the years because they do lose their ink rather rapidly
    • These are good quality and the ink flows well

    • Fine lines and nice ink flow, and very comfortable to hold.
    • So, to have a fine red ink pen that doesn't skip or smudge was essential
    • Quick drying ink and grip makes it easy to to hold and write with.
    • Plus it writes in some funny gel ink
    • That being said, the ink is absolutely amazing
    • These pens are fantastic!Ink dries in seconds, solid lines (no skips), and no bleed through.
    • Ink flows well and dries quick
    • The ink doesn't smear all over like so many of the gel pens, mainly because the point is such a fine point
    • Diameter (grip) = 10.9 mm; Length = 14.8 cm; Weight = 0.45 oz; ink composition = dye-basedThe same quick drying, smudge resistant ink that's found in the conical tip pens but with a needle-point tip for better precision.
    • There are really no better ink pens on the market today
    • So I am ALWAYS on the look out for a GOOD pen to help me with a decent grip, good inks/gel inks, varieties of color of inks, and fineness of the tips for a particular writing style
    • The ink flows like liquid but does not run like a Gel.
    • Other pens I've tried (liquid/gel types) would smear ink across the side of my hand and on paper, not the case with this pen
    • As with all gel pens, the ink gets depleted faster than ballpoint or liquid rollerball ink, and medium point of course uses more ink than fine point.
    • Love the combination of responsive ink and just the right amount of resistance.
    • The good:-The pens started out writing well -- they flow smoothly across the paper and let out a decent stream of solid ink
    • The ink dries up quickly therefore no smudges
    • This pen writes effortlessly and has very vivid ink.
    • The ink, while rich, can sometimes bleed through the thinnest of papers.

    • The ink was lovely but the pens would not stay together
    • I love the needle tip and the ink is great.
    • Smooth not scratchy, vivid ink.
    • Don't like purple ink
    • The ink is also such a deep, dark, black that other black inks might seem dull and lifeless by comparison
    • If you like to write fast, gel ink is probably the right ink for you.
    • The blue ink is just as good, as I have both.
    • This pen is very high quality, writes smoothly, ink dries fast, doesn't smudge, run or smear, and feels nice in your hand.
    • The ink is fast, flows smoothly and does not bleed through
    • The ink flows smoothly, and never smears, which is amazing
    • no ink splatts, love the thin needle tip (0.5) and the different colors ....
    • The ink doesn't smudge, and the pen makes a precise, smooth, fine red line for getting marks into all those tight spaces between letters
    • But for some reason, the purple ink really appeals to me
    • Good, solid ink colors and a smooth-gliding line--awesome!
    • The EnerGel ink is more pigmented and the ink is intensely black (which I like)
    • This is a great inexpensive blue ink pen.
    • The only half-negative thing I can say is that the ink glides so fast that my handwriting seems almost shaky, compared to when I write with "stickier" inks or pencils, which tend to slow my writing down
    • I love the Gel ink and its easy flow onto paper
    • The ink is bright instead of dull, like most gel pens.
    • SUMMARYAgain, great pens, my favorite, but be aware that the rich ink is prone to smear slightly, and has a tendency to bleed through thin paper.

    • Ink flows well, and is lovely to write with
    • Loved the dark ink and smooth flow.

    • Ink is fantastic
    • These pens feel good in your hand as you write, and the ink flows smoothly and does not smear.
    • The ink doesn't smear or smudge
    • The ink is absolutely, reliably consistent, and the needle-tip is precise
    • Not only that, but the lines are confidently darker than the uni-ball Vision and on par with the Precise V5 ink, but without the frequent bleeding, pooling, and slow drying that you sometimes get from liquid inks - Pilot is a particularly egregious offender here if you don't spring for expensive stationery
    • good flow, smooth, decent quality ink
    • Fine line ink flows beautifully from these pens.
    • Get blue ink though because for some reason the black ink pools at the tip of the pen and smudges when using it
    • The ink doesn't smear or smudge
    • Some of the pens do not flow very well, even after shaking up the ink.
    • Loved the dark ink and smooth flow.

    • No smearing, very smooth, bright ink - love it!!!
    • My favorite pens for work-- the only complaint would be having to replace the ink kind of frequently sucks.
    • Dries very very quickly (doodled randomly everyday just to try to smear the ink but just laugh at how fast it dried)3
    • Still the best gel-ink in my mind.
    • This is a really great fine point that the ink is consistent and doesn't smear.
    • The writing is extremely smooth, and the ink dries very quickly and never smudges on paper or my hands
    • Flows just as well as comparable liquid ink
    • I love the fine tip on these pens, and the ink is very smooth and easy to write with.
    • The ink is very consistent even at odd angles.
    • It is cool because the ink is gel like, but super thin and drys fast.
    • I can't say much about the build quality or how well the ink will protect you from something like check or signature fraud, though, so consider your options more carefully if that's what you're worried about
    • I've also tried Ink Joy Gel, but it bleeds thru paper and it fails to write even with more than half of ink left!
    • Great, smooth-writing pens with super fast-drying ink
    • The ink in this pen is absolutely phenomenal, not to mention 1/30th the price of my Namiki pen
    • The ink is very dark and if the paper is too thin it will go through but for regular school notebook type of papers, these are fine.
    • Smooth writing, consistent ink flow with no "skips" or "blank spots", flows across the paper with little resistence, nice bold ink colors.
    • No smearing with my left hand writing...smooth ink - love it!
