Pentel Graph Gear 1000 Automatic Drafting Pencil, 0.5mm Lead Size, Brushed Metal Barrel, 1 Each (PG1015A)

    • Has a nice weight and balance to it
    • I can say that well balanced and easy to use
    • I like the feel of it and the balance.
    • This pencil has a great weight and balance for daily comfortable use.
    • This pencil has good weight balance.
    • Pencil feels solid, with great balancing and weight.
    • The balance feels exceptional
    • Other pencils that have a moving tip have much more tip movement then the graphgear 1000, and they tend to jam frequently, be difficult to fix, be more expensive, have incorrect balance or weight, etc
    • The weight of this pencil is excellent; nice heft and balance
    • I would recommend this for a carry around pencil since it has a retractable tip but the pentel graph gear 500 is better for at home use as it has a much better balance.
    • Excellent quality and well balanced
    • I haven't used it much but the pencil is well balanced
    • It fits well within the hand, is well weighted and balanced, and doesn't give me those much hated pencil dents in the sides of my fingers from prolonged use
    • The balance and quality of construction make it worth twice the price.
    • Well balanced.
    • The balance is exceptional, and feels much more substantial than any Kuru Toga (and trust me, I've tried them all!)So in summary, this is a well-balanced pencil and my new favorite
    • Nice balance, sturdy, and love the retractable tip
    • The weight is very well balanced in writing or printing words are drawing lines as well.
    • The metal seems really cheap (the barrel has a speckle-like appearance, similar to plastic that is made to have a metal appearance). The pencil itself does feel very sturdy, and has a really nice balanced weight to it
    • It is a well balanced pencil, with a retractable point (saves the pockets from getting holes in them), and does many things very well.
    • This little gem is balanced in the hand when I write.
    • Very well balanced and comfortable to write with
    • I like the balance of the Rotring more, it is less top heavy than the Graph Gear 1000, and the lead that was included seems to be softer and maybe higher quality
    • Similar mechanical pencil manufactures like rotrig, have this feature only available on their more expensive mechanical pencils.-The pencil is solid and doesn't feel like it will fall apart.-Weight on the pencil is great, very balanced
    • Weight is fantastic, perfect balance at the grip.
    • Great feel and balance.
    • Nice pen - feels sturdy, but not too heavy, just the right balance for me
    • Feels good, balanced
    • This is the best line of mechanical pencils I've tried, the weight is well balanced, never had a problem with the pencil causing too much tensionon the lead, and the tip of the pencil being retractible is a great feature, it improves greatly the lifespan of the pencil
    • This pencil is extremely sturdy and well balanced
    • It's precise, well balanced and weighted in my hand.
    • It has a better weight balance and the lead is not as fragile as the smaller leaded pencil.
    • Well engineered, comfortable to use, good balance and weight and need retraction system.
    • Good balance and good grip
    • Has a good balance/weight when drawing and the small lead is easily eraseable
    • Very well built, well balanced, and can take a hit.
    • Feels great in hand, good balance, but I really dislike the way the eraser is included in the design
    • It has a nice balance of control
    • Well balanced and comfortable to hold, the lead advancement is smooth and precise, everything i ever wanted in a mechanical pencil.
    • Love the weight and balance, but the mechanical advancing feature goes awry after a few month's of use.
    • The pencil has a nice balanced weight and feel thanks to the aluminum barrel
    • The balance is fantastic, the weight is perfect, and there is a lifetime guarantee so the two times I've had one jam in the last 10
    • This thickness of lead has proven itself to be the best balance for me between precision and sturdiness
    • It's well balanced weight and comfortable to hold
    • It has great balance
    • And the weight feels pretty balanced too
    • It's well balanced and extremely sturdy
    • Feels great in hand, good balance, but I really dislike the way the eraser is included in the design
    • well balanced and easy to use
    • It is sturdy and well balanced
    • Works just as you would expect but with a level of refined luxury to it.
    • Not to thrilled over this as I cannot tell if it has been used previously
    • I am pretty light on my stuff and don't consider myself an abuser so this was pretty disappointing and frustrating as it did not even last a full year.
    • Works perfect as if it was the original cap, better yet, they're basically free
    • The pencil lasts a very long time I bought mine last year July around this time and it still works just as good as when I first got it
    • A wonderfully well-made mechanical pencil -- as good as the ones I purchased during engineering school in the 1980's!!Smooth operations, good feeding of the lead, and the pointy tip retracts into the barrel, so no more holes in my pockets!I love it - ordered two more for use at home and at work.
    • The pencil disappoints as it failed too early for the price charged.
    • I would just say not to press too hard on the lead because it will break as it is very thin lead
    • I love Pentel lead as it is smooth going down on paper.
