Pentel Graph Gear 1000 Automatic Drafting Pencil, 0.5mm Lead Size, Brushed Metal Barrel, 1 Each (PG1015A)

    • Pencil worked well for a.couple of weeks other than the loose eraser cap
    • I actively tried not to lose the cap of the Staedtler pencil I had before
    • I always keep my finger over it now just as a preventative measure.2: if you press a little too hard when extending the tip out it also extends the lead out another click and you end up having to readjust it.3: the cap over the eraser is useless to me
    • LOST YOUR ERASER CAP
    • It's a good pencil, but I lost the metal cap and I don't see a way to buy it separately.
    • Writing point snaps well back into the nose to protect the lead when you have finished writing; and pops out again when you depress the cap.
    • I do wish it had an option for a larger, super durable eraser and no rear cap.
    • After only the second week of classes I lost the metal cap to my pencil
    • the eraser is small and is hidden under the top cap.
    • Woe betide you if you lose the end cap though.
    • I use Pentel Z21 eraser refills and this has happened with more than one, so the cap is the culprit.
    • You are bound to lose that cap, because you have to take it off to get access to the eraser
    • Keep it capped and protected under the metal piece, buy a nice polymer plastic eraser to accompany this pencil
    • Works just as you would expect but with a level of refined luxury to it.
    • Not to thrilled over this as I cannot tell if it has been used previously
    • I am pretty light on my stuff and don't consider myself an abuser so this was pretty disappointing and frustrating as it did not even last a full year.
    • Works perfect as if it was the original cap, better yet, they're basically free
    • The pencil lasts a very long time I bought mine last year July around this time and it still works just as good as when I first got it
    • A wonderfully well-made mechanical pencil -- as good as the ones I purchased during engineering school in the 1980's!!Smooth operations, good feeding of the lead, and the pointy tip retracts into the barrel, so no more holes in my pockets!I love it - ordered two more for use at home and at work.
    • The pencil disappoints as it failed too early for the price charged.
    • I would just say not to press too hard on the lead because it will break as it is very thin lead
    • I love Pentel lead as it is smooth going down on paper.
