Pentel Graph Gear 1000 Automatic Drafting Pencil, 0.5mm Lead Size, Brushed Metal Barrel, 1 Each (PG1015A)

    • Not fancy, but easy on the eyes, feels great to use, and extremely mechanically well designed
    • I have to admit, so far, it seems like a clever design
    • Solid Metal design feels sturdy and retractable nib makes it more comfortable in your pocket
    • Moreover, I love its sleek and elegant design
    • Needless to say, I was very disappointed that an other wise excellent writing instrument would have such a glaring design flaw
    • This pencil is almost completely metal (aluminum I believe) it writes extremely smoothly, and is overall one of my favorite designs of pencil
    • Also, it has a clever design that lets you mark what kind of lead is inside, which comes in handy if you have more then one of them (like I do) and are using different leads in each
    • The design is excellent the pencils are sturdy and comfortable to use.
    • Quality and slick design.
    • The design and build quality are great, the functionality is consistent and does a good job
    • The tip retractor protects both your pencil and your bagSimply a good design
    • I like the elegant design and the combination of metallic and yelowish color
    • The mechanical action that brings the lead to the tip is very poorly designed
    • The best pencil I've ever had, especially the tip mechanism that push the tip in. very smart design.
    • Such a nicely designed product
    • The smartest design

    • I love the design and it has a nice feeling to it.
    • . more on the smart design; the clip of the pencil where you can securely lodge it on the flap of a shirt or pant pocket also doubles as a retracting lever for the actual graphite barrel of the pencil.
    • never knew the intricate designs for the protections of the tip
    • They're solid metal, sturdy, well-designed
    • The design is solid and unique.
    • But its comfortable to use and feels sturdy and has a nice design and i enjoy it so much.
    • A sturdy, polished design that I highly recommend to others.
    • I use these pencils for work and I like the design and never run out of lead because I can carry the refills in my pocket!
    • It's sturdy and has a cool design
    • The thin design allows precision and somehow encourages me to write neater even when I don't want to
    • I personally don't have a problem with it and love the design
    • The well thought-out design, solid construction (all internal/moving parts feel sturdy, and the pencil has a comforting heft that took a few days to get used to, but was greatly missed when I found myself having to use a different pencil some weeks later), and minimal form of this pencil have made it my absolute favorite non-ink writing implement, and it's held up well during the 80-100 hours of use it's performed since I bought it
    • My pencil was not designed to fail like this Graphgear 1000, as it's still perfect after 20 years
    • Great weight, nice clip, and a good design.
    • Being able to protect the fine 0.4mm tip that holds the 0.3mm lead is a very nice design feature
    • It is so well designed from the grip to the clip.
    • It feels good in the hand, there is a slight weight to it and the design is comfortable
    • The overall visual design is nice and the pen is very slim which makes it look elegant.(one exception is that the clip could be designed more elegant)7
    • I liked the new design!!!
    • It was a mistake to save 40 cents and ruin the design by substituting a plastic sleeve for a a metal one for the main structural piece
    • good weight, good design
    • Great feel and design
    • Not fancy, but easy on the eyes, feels great to use, and extremely mechanically well designed

    • Its mechanism is very well designed.
    • Nice design!!
    • It is such a good design and well made that I purchased one for myself.
    • This pencil writes magnificently however, and the high quality writing combined with the sleek design make up for the bad design of some of its parts.
    • Quality all the way; the construction and way that the clasp locks on tight, these are all very good design elements, as is the partial rubberized grip
    • Great design!
    • The retractable front end is a fantastic design feature that secures the lead and prevents poking when stowed
    • I really like the design of this pencil

    • Nice design: good comfortable grip, nib retracts completely
    • Very smart design.-Long tip
    • Loves i!
    • Also the extend/rectract action is just so satisfying to use when I my hand needs to fidget.
    • I bought the 0.5mm use with Pentel HB lead as I like the darkness of it when I use it for drawing and shadowing
