My son is loved the quality of this pencil and the clicking mechanism

A $10 pencil seems like overkill to me since I'm used to using those $5 for a 24 pack Bic pencils ( I like those as well) but the quality you get is well worth the price

The lead that comes already in it is of good quality, and i have been using it practically non-stop for a few weeks

I use the GraphGear 500 most frequently and that pencil is cheaper and much higher quality than this one.

I think the 0.7 is better for all around writing / note taking as the 0.5 can punch through thin paper, as it is geared more toward drafting or writing on good quality paper.

A wonderfully well-made mechanical pencil -- as good as the ones I purchased during engineering school in the 1980's!!Smooth operations, good feeding of the lead, and the pointy tip retracts into the barrel, so no more holes in my pockets!I love it - ordered two more for use at home and at work.

The pencil disappoints as it failed too early for the price charged.

I would just say not to press too hard on the lead because it will break as it is very thin lead
