Pentel Graph Gear 1000 Automatic Drafting Pencil, 0.5mm Lead Size, Brushed Metal Barrel, 1 Each (PG1015A)

    • These pads are different colors depending on the lead size you choose (brown for .3 mm, grey for .5 mm, blue for .7 mm, and yellow for .9 mm), making it easy to identify which size of lead you're using.- The dual-action retractor advances and retracts tip for easy use
    • This pencil has a great weight and balance for daily comfortable use.
    • The heft takes a little getting used to, but I love the clip and retractable tip
    • Best mechanical pencil I have ever used or owned
    • It's possible to turn it to a point where it is too loose or so tight it gets stuck and requires use of pliers to free up
    • Outstanding for close detailed work, such as detailing the iris of an eye, the grip is very comfortable when using for long periods of time
    • Best pencil I have ever used, it is amazing!
    • This is the best pencil that I have used and have no problem recommending it to my friends, I even purchased one as a gift for a family member who was heading off to college to start his engineering program

    • Quite simply the best pencil that I have ever used.
    • The lead(graphite, or whatever is used) has to be changed 4/5 of the way through, meaning you never can fully use the lead.

    • This is the best pencil I've ever used
    • I also love the use of rubberized colored dots on the barrel to let you know the size lead the pencil uses, and how the rubber dots make it easy to hold for long lengths of time
    • it’s a beautiful sketching pencil but about a couple of days in of using it the tip of the pencil starts retracting and no matter how gentile I
    • If the balancing point was a little lower it would be perfect, however this is still the best pencil I've used.

    • Unfortunately, the barrel that you twist to show which lead you are using is rather stiff
    • It has a bulkier feel that some may like, but I'm not used to it yet.
    • The knurled grip feels nice but can be a little abrasive to fingers if using for a long time
