Persona 4 Golden - PlayStation Vita

    • Make no mistake, the difficulty spikes are brutal in the middle of the journey and a lot of the overall play time is grinding out levels, but that does not take away from the unbelieveable size and depth of Persona 4
    • If you die in battle, the difficulty you have chosen will decide whether you can restart a battle, a floor of a dungeon, or just be dead forever and need to reload
    • A big example of this is the boss of the first dungeon, but I won't spoil exactly how they changed it.-Overall difficulty seems slightly harder than the original
    • Its very challenging when you set the difficulty stupid high, and that's one thing I like about it.
    • If you enjoyed it the first time for it's combat then this has had elements to improve it (Rise's new abilities to aid the party during combat being a shining point) but the difficulty has been eased quiet a bit so be aware
    • so it's possible to go through for strictly story on easy without ever bothering with the dungeon grinding or you can set to the hardest difficulty for a huge challengePS
    • It did seem a little easier than the PS2 version, but you can always choose the hardest difficulty to get around that I'm sure
    • A major difficulty is that the entrance no longer heals you, and paying the fox to do so is reeaally expensive unless you do his missions
    • Defeating the enemies takes some thinking on harder difficulties and it isn't a cake walk if you are playing on a more difficult setting than the medium one
    • You also have different difficulty settings that you can choose from when you first start your game, so in other words it's perfect for those who want to take it easy or who want a real challenge
    • (Now before I explain why, keep in mind this was my third time beating the game, I played through the game on normal, and there are two or three harder difficulties than normal
    • I happy grinded away until I got that Platinum trophy,
