    • I had to stop using these because they kept leaving charcoal dust in the water, even after being rinsed beforehand.

    • I have found that the filter still releases charcoal dust for a day or two after I install it, even though I rinsed it more this time (the reason for the 4 stars)
    • It is best to give the filters a good rinse or light soak before replacing, otherwise you might get a ring of charcoal dust on the bottom of your fountain
