To achieve optimal resolution, user must adjust settings on monitor and laptop, and it's not an intuitive process at all

(It's my understanding that this monitor won't run at optimal resolution unless USB is set at 2.0).4

DO NOT USE THE HDMI CABLE, as you might not get the full benefit of the crystal clear and crisp resolution this monitor provides.

My macbook pro can drive this to unbelievable resolution levels.

I think I got that right, but just know that if you're getting crappy resolution and getting dizzy or nauseous looking at the monitor (due to 30Hz), check the cable setup

I bought these for the warranty and the supposed good resolution.

This is a decent monitor, with nice enough resolution, enough port support and nice appearance

The resolution is just right for text and graphics

The resolution is great, the color is great, but it has ONE TERRIBLE DESIGN FLAW: the mounting section in the back is too close to the cable inputs

While HD resolution may sound good, for a 32 inch monitor that you will be sitting at normal desk distance from, the 1080 resolution will look horrible, with noticeable jagged edges on text and lines

The only drawback I can see is that the higher resolution is difficult for my macbook pro to drive full screen

Only usable resolution was 1080 old school res (not doubled / retina) which is pointless for the price

Otherwise, this looked awesome and appeared well built, it just was too much for my location without the reward of high enough resolution to justify keeping it.
