Pilot Metropolitan Collection Fountain Pen, Black Barrel, Classic Design, Medium Nib, Black Ink (91107)

    • Remembering pens from the Good Old Days, I expected this a medium nib to squander vast quantities of ink and to create a sloppy-looking document
    • Good looking, writes well
    • Very good looking pen
    • Good looking, Good weight
    • I like the weight and the look and the size much more than the Lamy Safari.
    • Smooth writing, nice look, great price
    • While I didn't like the pen grip, I found that I really enjoy the overall look and performance of this pen and the italic nib (from Pilot Plumix).
    • Despite its sleek look and feel, the pen did not write smoothly.
    • unusable.its nib is far superior to lamy in my opinion, however, i prefer the overall light weight and look of the lamy, as well as the the ink indicator.
    • Love the look and weight of this classicly designed pen
    • In the first 6 months, I received tons of compliments on how good looking the pen was and how well it wrote
    • Loving this pen for practicing my cursive—great weight, great-looking, smooth on paper.
    • Pros: great look, size, weight, easy to replace ink, a step up from those disposable fountain pensCons: coworkers without warning will take the pen during meetings and say things like "whoa"
    • If you are looking for a fountain pen for yourself or as a gift, I highly recommend this, it's really good

    • Very smooth, affordable, and nice looking pen to get into the fountain pen collecting.
    • overall a Classic fountain pen with more modern look and more simple
    • I've had this pen for a year now and will buy another one when this one breaks because unless i'm looking for a huge price increase, so far i've been disappointed in the other cheaper fountain pens I've bought.
    • Really good... rich looking... very good quality (Made in Japan)
    • The pen is very attractive looking, though Spartan, with almost no metal trim
    • Pretty nice looking pen.
    • For the cost, this pen made a nice looking addition to a note card package I made up for a Christmas exchange gift
    • Construction materials are brass (or so I read) with a stainless looking nib and plastic nib assembly
    • It looks like an expensive pen, professional look to it.
    • Other than that, the pen is great; it writes really well, has a refined, "fancy" look and feel, and at a good price, too
    • Very good looking and nice writing pen.
    • Not only is it attractive looking, but it writes like a dream.
    • It gives a professional stylish look to my letters.
    • Nice looking pen, pleasant to write
    • very expensive looking for such a good price
    • The step down from the barrel to where you grip the pen is beautiful with a nice metal look, but the transition is very sharp and it digs into my thumb making it extremely uncomfortable when writing for a long time.
    • True, that's "in the eye of the beholder", but for me, it's sleek, classic look and black with silver accents is perfect3
    • It writes extremely smoothly, and has a classic look that is appropriate for use anywhere
    • I love the look and feel, there is only one thing that drives me crazy
