The perfect ink for a $200 Pelikan pen; it cleans the nib during use.
-
Works great as a replacement, just be sure to clean your nib out before you change the ink or you might end up with a clogged pen.
-
Great option if already purchasing Pilot Metropolitan Collection Fountain Pen, Black Barrel, Classic Design, Medium Nib, Black Ink (91107).
-
Works well in my Metropolitan with a fine nib.
-
I may be able to start to see a bigger difference if I had a pen with a more flexible nib or was more of a fountain pen
-
My only tiny carp is that the medium nib writes more like a fine nib, but I have read that Japan makes their nibs on the narrow side
-
However, the Medium nib and this ink work perfectly together
-
So far only used one cartridge and still going strong after few months, the color is a nice true red that doesn't bleed or feather too much or at all with a medium to fine nib, but does dry quick which is a plus for me being left handed!
-
With a fine nib, it doesn't smear much, but it will soak through cheap paper
-
Ink is of decent quality but a bit on the thick side and there is some skipping problems with "F"(Fine) nibs
-
Currently using this ink for 2 of my Pilot Metropolitan fountain pens, one with a Fine nib and the other with a Medium nib
-
my Pilot Fine nib and my Pilot italic nib (from a Pilot Plumix).
-
As my new pen had a much finer nib and forty years have passed, I appreciated the instruction for installation because I didn't want to wreck the delicate parts
-
Once that was done, I then had to puncture the tip with a punch (carefully so as not to enlarge it too much) because my nib was unable to pierce the plastic seal
-
The ink passes the smudge test beautifully, and flow very smoothly from my Pilot Prera with fine nib.
-
It flows beautifully, I don't think I've ever had trouble with it clogging up the nib, and it puts a nice bold line on the page
-
Dries quickly enough on a fine nib pen to allow left handed writers to enjoy the experience of writing with a fountain pen
-
I got the fine nib Metropolitan to use at work
-
My fine nib looks as if it were a medium.
-
Before the nib was so scratchy from the other ink.
-
This ink writes just a tad too dry with the Fine nib, which makes the paper feel a little scratchy
-
Either the top of the cartridge was too thick, or the nib wasn't sharp enough to penetrate it.
-
Photos are wothbit heing used in my pilot metropolitan fine nib on moleskine paper
-
I use these cartridges with my Pilot metropolitan (fine nib) to write case notes with and went through a cartridge in 11 days
-
and I' Very Satisfied with the product
