Pilot Namiki IC50 Fountain Pen Ink Cartridge, Purple, 6 Cartridges per Pack (69004)

    • A wet ink Feathers on poor paper.
    • Combine this with a good paper like Rhodia, and you have a hassle-free way to get some of the best fountain pen performance I've ever experienced.
    • No feathering on even really inexpensive papers
    • It does bleed through cheap paper some, but I have not noticed this with good stationery quality paper
    • Feathers and bleeds a bit on cheap paper
    • It flows easily from the nib and dries to a dark gray-black color and doesn't bleed when used on good quality paper.
    • It exhibits some good shading, even in fine-to-medium points, and only moderate show/bleed-through on cheap papers
    • Nice dark blue shade, when using the right paper (I use a black & red notebook), I get crisp lines with no leakage.
    • With a fine nib, it doesn't smear much, but it will soak through cheap paper
    • I use the pen for correcting student papers and to write notes in my notebook that I want to be comments on what I have already written in black.
    • The ink wont feather or bleed unless you're using cheap, low-quality paper
    • The black ends up a little washed out looking when I finish writing, but I'm sure that writing on cheap paper is to be blamed for that.
    • On cheaper paper where other inks might fuzz and bleed and feather, this one doesn't.
    • With the latter nib, the choice of paper becomes more important since more ink is flowing at a fairly quick pace, but if you find the right paper it works just great
    • The ink, expectedly, performs well on the "fountain pen friendly" papers such as those sold by Rhodia, or Tomoe River, but those materials are a touch expensive for me to use for scratch work
    • The ink takes a little time to dry, and the ink can feather a bit on the wrong paper
    • It prints through bad paper, so it is not for two-sided writing on bad paper
    • Very easy to use and ink works great on the correct paper
    • I do not recommend using it with standard notebook paper, however - you need something somewhat thicker, like a standard artist's paper or what you would find in the nicely bound journals you can get at the book store
    • Works great on good paper
    • It is not for two-sided writing on bad paper.
    • It does bleed through cheap paper some, but I have not noticed this with good stationery quality paper
    • I bought a pack in black and a pack in blue at first for my pilot metropolitan, however they behave very bad in regular printer paper or cheap notebook paper (Look at the picture comparison)
    • (Soaks in quickly to all but the finest papers; takes a little time to dry
    • My search for affordable fountain pen compatible paper continues
    • Only feathers on super bad paper, comes out perfectly, and lays down a solid black line
    • Good ink, bleeds on cheap paper but flows really well in my Pilot Falcon.
    • This ink writes just a tad too dry with the Fine nib, which makes the paper feel a little scratchy
    • This is one of the best-behaved fountain pen inks on bad paper; it only rarely prints through even bad paper
    • Only feathers on super bad paper, comes out perfectly, and lays down a solid black line
    • It dries quickly for fountain pen ink, and doesn't bleed through on the paper too much (and trust me, I'm not using any high quality or expensive paper)
    • Arrived OK!They work as
