the purple pen seems to have trouble writing from time to time, likely from a defect in the tip during manufacturing, not enough of a problem to return it, but enough to gripe over as it's my favorite color

Love these pens - the colors are great, and the fact that I keep them in their packaging keeps them from breaking and getting the ink everywhere (which is wont to happen).

These pens are lovely to grade essays with because of the ultra fine tip and unique colors.

My only complaint is that I can't find where I can buy one or several all of the same "not popular" color ink, i.e. Turqouise, online at a good price.

They are the classic office colors of blue, black, red, and green, and perfect for my nurse's notes and brain sheets at work, but then also have the fun colors that I love with the pink, purple, and turquoise/aqua blue.

OK so these complete through the pages just a tiny bit (as expected for the ink type).But they write faultlessly, the colors are vibrant, and this is an extremely good price for such pens.

While the colors are lovely and ink flows nicely, these pens do not exactly make extra fine lines, they are fairly thick in my opinion, so I would call them medium thickness, not extra fine
