The Pilot Precise V5RT Liquid Ink Refill produces a precise fine line that does not smudge when I am making notes in the margin of my Bible or other books and does not bleed through to the opposite side of the page.

After throwing away yet another pen, it finally occurred to me to look up whether refills were available

In fairness, this is a very narrow line, so I do prefer a thicker, bolder 1.0 G2 refill #77289 for signatures or greeting cards, where personality is more desirable than precision.

Additionally, I'll point out that while the refills are more expensive than buying a new pen, it's more environmentally sound to just chuck the ink tank and stick a new one into your pen, rather than shucking the whole pen itself

I wish I could find the refills reasonable priced without having to rebuy the pens each time.

I have been using the same V5 "husks" for about 5 years now thanks to these useful refill packs.

I give four instead of 5 stars because the ink runs down quickly and there are no green or red refills available for sale, only black and blue.

The only “diwnside” for me is that, unlike the other colors, there doesn’t seem to be a refill available for the green ink pen
