If you don't want to ruin a shirt, you should probably look into a capped pen, not a retractable one

I have ruined three (3) shirts which says a lot for the ink itself but the pen is a total failure in the regard of leaking

I thought I had, until the first V5 pen I used began leaking and dripping ink from the tip during a workshop, and the second one leaked in my pocket, ruining my dress shirt.

The only downside is that they have removable caps, and after putting an uncapped pen in the pocket of a very expensive shirt I have been on a quest to find a great retractable pen
