The ink write smooth and strong, but doesn't generally smear or leak through the paper.

It dries quickly so you don't get those messy smears and ink stains on your hands

However, what you must know about this pen is that there is a hole close to the tip of the pen (picture included) that will leak ink and can get onto your fingers

The ink can bleed a little on some papers, but it has never been a big deal for me.

The only issue I have with this pen is its dark ink tends to be visible through thin paper.

I hate ball points and this gives me a fine ink point.

The ink has not bled through paper that I have used, but because of its dark color, it is noticeable on cheap paper and is the only thing preventing me from giving it a full 5 stars as I wish I could give it 4 and 1/2.

When writing on lower quality paper, the ink bleeds a great deal and the lines become even thicker than if you were using a regular ballpoint pen
