It would be nice if there were a self-install device that wasn't too difficult to do alone, and save the exorbitant install fee.

I appreciated that there was PLENTY of cable length and a wiring coupling to ease install

This was an easy install to my Pioneer car stereo in a 2008 Ford F150.

Very easy install into my Pioneer AVIC; plug and play system.

Worked for one week after being installed now when its damp out in the morning or when its raining it will quit working.

But the unit works great, and I love having it for the reasons stated as well as when I have too much stuff in my truck bed and can't see out the back, I just put on the camera and it helps a lot.
