New set for my home theater, so clear with my onkyo receiver, bought the sub too, love it all.

I highly recommend this set of speakers

But, if all you can afford are these, I'd say they are certainly a good starter set.

Easy set-up, great sound quality

These Andrew Jones speakers are "colored" similarly so they work very well together as a set

It was an absolutely awesome set up, and if you search reviews, that Energy system is absolutely killer for the money

They replaced a much more expensive set of Infinity

All in all, they're a great set of speakers, and I'm happy with them, but if you already have a nice sounding setup, you may not notice any improvement aside from better bass response if you're coming from satellites such as myself.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from the Pioneers for the price, I expected they would be good enough to get by with until I could afford another set of expensive speakers
