At the pricepoint, I'd say D'Addario has done it again to provide a superior quality product

3 out of 4 times, if Planet Waves has a product in the category I am in the market for, their product will win out; and if they don't, often someone else will have a Planet Waves version that I'll try out and possibly reconsider

However, my initial impression is that this is a good quality product.

Just holding the cable itself, you immediately feel how much better quality this product is versus Hosa cables and the like

I am also appreciative that an American-made product of higher quality is so affordable.
