Sturdy build - Good quality headphonesThis phone does live by all the expectations, but yet when it comes to making a cordless phone - Plantronics engineers and designers need to work on it a bit more.
-
I like that I was able to pickup a spare battery to swap out, although this is a bit more difficult than I would like.
-
It's very compact (really only the size of a credit card or a tiny bit bigger and maybe not quite 1/2" thick) - very easy to stick in a pocket or clip on (or just leave it setting on the desk)
-
The new unit is much cleaner in terms of signal - the earpiece is a bit loud even on the quietest settings and the phone book speed dial functions aren't totally intuitive
-
The unit was very light weight and seemed a bit cheap looking for some of the other guys asking price and also there is a buzzing sound that comes and goes so I am not in love with it yet
-
The phone is still usable at this distance, the sound just breaks up a bit.
-
This appears every bit as well made with some minor improvements.
-
The signal begins to degrade a bit when I go inside the second barn which is 200 yards from the house, it is also metal.
-
I won't give it a five star as the headset could be a little bit more comfortable and its cable should be a littler bit more thicker
-
Although he speaker still hurts my ears a bit, particularly during a dial tone, it's not nearly as bad as the S12 model I have
-
The only drawback is that there is no large "Mute" button and the keypad is quite small (a bit hard to dial, sometimes).
-
When my battery died I contacted Plantronics about ordering a new one and they sent me one for free
