If you don't get enough volume or clarity out of the box, make sure you set the switches for optimal volume and clarity located on the base unit

:Let me preface by stating that since this is so inconvenient to use, the pro's are cancelled out by the fact that the headset is BACK IN ITS BOX and being returned, so the pro's don't really matter, but here you go:-The headset does do an acceptable job of cancelling out background noise-Separate volume controls for the ear pieces and the microphone, which is nice.-I was able to get range walking all around my office floor
