having certain features are nice, you either have to take the QC35 off your ear or shut them off to hear anything while the BB Pro 2 has 3 options, ANC on, ANC off and then open mic, wow that was really had to do eh

The Bluedios also weren't this comfortable, were a great deal heavier, didn't sound this good, and didn't have the nifty gyro sensor feature

They hit all the notes on paper that I am looking for: 20+ hours of battery life, active noise cancelling, aptX and aptX-LL (Low Latency), open mic mode (pumps in the sound from around you so you can hear what is going on without taking off the headphones), nice physical controls, support for 2 device connections at once, etc... but unfortunately all these great features and sound quality are held back by uncomfortable design, at least for me

I love the pause feature with the right side of the head phones too, makes things so much simpler then having to find s button.

It has some nice features, and I liked my original Backbeat Pros to buy the Pro 2

The battery life is AMAZING but my favorite feature is the sensor that will pause the music you’re listening to when you remove the headphones and then resume it when you put them back on

And the best feature - I can stay connected to my laptop and listen to music/podcast and still take calls on my cell phone, seemlesly without having to disconnect from one and connect to the other!I cannot comment on the battery life, since I have not owned these long enough

Overall, this is a good balance between affordable and full-featured, and I am quite pleased with them.

The Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 were a logical choice to try as I purchased the Backbeat Sense (on ear) headphones and enjoyed the sound and features, but wanted an over ear set for more ambient noise isolation.

tl;dr - these headphones sound wonderful, are packed with useful features, and are a bargain at $200

The open mic feature is nice when you're traveling and dealing with incessant announcements from gate attendants and flight crew, but there seems to be a bug whereby whatever you're listening to stops whenever you switch it on

Noise cancelation feature - marketing things, for example Sony WH-1000XM2 has absolutely amazing noise cancelation feature, but in Plantronics it was implemented as "we should have it in specification list and it does not matter"I bought it for 120$, I would say it is very expensive for such overall quality, normal price should be 70-80$, but not 200$ as manufacture is trying to sell them

The headphones come with an 'automatic pause sensor' that will pause music when you take off your headphones, so I followed the instructions to disable this feature

I expected this feature to be buggy but it works exactly how I want it to 95% of the time, and when it doesn't, it's not a real issue

Sound dampening is good and is a nice feature.

Another huge plus here is Open Mic feature which seems to work great as well as ability to keep Noise Cancelling off permanently, which is a nice feature for me since I will rarely need it working in a quiet home office, but still want NC functionality for when I occasionally travel

Add the fact they look great and have cool features like volume dial and playback controls on the side, automatically pause when you take them off, and are very comfortable, and the 5 star rating gets more defense
