Plantronics Wireless Noise Cancelling Backbeat - Headphones (Black & Tan) (Pro 2)

    • having certain features are nice, you either have to take the QC35 off your ear or shut them off to hear anything while the BB Pro 2 has 3 options, ANC on, ANC off and then open mic, wow that was really had to do eh
    • The "smart" feature drove me crazy, cutting out for no apparent reason
    • The Bluedios also weren't this comfortable, were a great deal heavier, didn't sound this good, and didn't have the nifty gyro sensor feature
    • They hit all the notes on paper that I am looking for: 20+ hours of battery life, active noise cancelling, aptX and aptX-LL (Low Latency), open mic mode (pumps in the sound from around you so you can hear what is going on without taking off the headphones), nice physical controls, support for 2 device connections at once, etc... but unfortunately all these great features and sound quality are held back by uncomfortable design, at least for me
    • Im still not sure about the effectiveness of noice cancelling feature
    • I love the pause feature with the right side of the head phones too, makes things so much simpler then having to find s button.
    • Returned them as the feature that pauses your music when you remove the headphones was all messed up
    • It has some nice features, and I liked my original Backbeat Pros to buy the Pro 2
    • The battery life is AMAZING but my favorite feature is the sensor that will pause the music you’re listening to when you remove the headphones and then resume it when you put them back on
    • And the best feature - I can stay connected to my laptop and listen to music/podcast and still take calls on my cell phone, seemlesly without having to disconnect from one and connect to the other!I cannot comment on the battery life, since I have not owned these long enough
    • Overall, this is a good balance between affordable and full-featured, and I am quite pleased with them.
    • The "put-down" feature to stop music is just lovely
    • The best feature of these is also the worst.
    • The "open mic" feature is cool, and the auto-pause works flawlessly
    • The "open mic" feature is cool, and the auto-pause works flawlessly
    • Amazing sound, great comfort and useful, intuitive features.
    • Being able to pause the music by pulling the headphones off is a great feature
    • So these headphones sound promising when you consider all the features and the price but the execution fall flat
    • The 'open listening' feature is very nice, the sleep mode when removing the phones is very handy
    • Quirks:-Plantronics added a feature that pauses your music when you take off your headphones so you don't miss a minute of your music
    • The Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 were a logical choice to try as I purchased the Backbeat Sense (on ear) headphones and enjoyed the sound and features, but wanted an over ear set for more ambient noise isolation.
    • tl;dr - these headphones sound wonderful, are packed with useful features, and are a bargain at $200
    • The open mic feature is nice when you're traveling and dealing with incessant announcements from gate attendants and flight crew, but there seems to be a bug whereby whatever you're listening to stops whenever you switch it on
    • I love the open listening feature that allows you to hear all surrounding noise without having to take off your headphones.
    • The built in sensors that pause music when you take the headphones off work amazingly well and are a super convenient feature
    • but it def holds its own.. the only feature I don't like and had issue with was the detection options where headphones stops music when take it off
    • Good sound quality when making phone callsThe external mic feature is cool for listening in on people who think you cant hear
    • Great price for all the awesome features they have.
    • work computer).- Plantronics Hub app has two useful features
    • Neat feature where they pause audio when you remove them from your ears, super handy.
    • Amazing sound, great comfort and useful, intuitive features.
    • My favorite feature is the auto stop
    • Does not work well with Kindles."Kindle devices will not support microphone features
    • The features on these things are killer
    • Noise cancelation feature - marketing things, for example Sony WH-1000XM2 has absolutely amazing noise cancelation feature, but in Plantronics it was implemented as "we should have it in specification list and it does not matter"I bought it for 120$, I would say it is very expensive for such overall quality, normal price should be 70-80$, but not 200$ as manufacture is trying to sell them
    • These headphones sound great and have a lot of nice features
    • Its been a nice feature I appreciate
    • The best feature of these is also the worst.
    • It is a really cool feature and something that I would really miss with a different pair.
    • I hate this feature
    • Great quality and features
    • The sound is great, the noise cancellation is good, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the feature that pauses noise cancelation and pauses playback when I remove them from my head and seamlessly resumes when I put them back on
    • The sound quality is amazing and every feature feels intuitive.
    • The battery is the best feature, it really last for a long, long time
    • My favorite feature is that the headphones automatically pause the audio when the headphone is removed
    • I like the sound and features but noise canceling is non existent
    • Amazing feature that I'm surprised the $500+ Bose Quiet Comfort 35's haven't implemented
    • great sound and features
    • And I love the "Open Listening" feature that stops the music and turns on an external mic that permits you to hear the PA announcements on flights
    • Love the feature that it pauses when you take them off
    • Be prepared to frequently skip tracks by accident.-Open mic mode is a great feature on the Sony MWX-1000.
    • The "smart" feature drove me crazy, cutting out for no apparent reason
    • The headphones come with an 'automatic pause sensor' that will pause music when you take off your headphones, so I followed the instructions to disable this feature
    • I expected this feature to be buggy but it works exactly how I want it to 95% of the time, and when it doesn't, it's not a real issue
    • Sound dampening is good and is a nice feature.
    • I love the cordless feature
    • They're also quite comfy and the features are really good.
    • Another huge plus here is Open Mic feature which seems to work great as well as ability to keep Noise Cancelling off permanently, which is a nice feature for me since I will rarely need it working in a quiet home office, but still want NC functionality for when I occasionally travel
    • The ambient microphone feature is a great added feature
    • Add the fact they look great and have cool features like volume dial and playback controls on the side, automatically pause when you take them off, and are very comfortable, and the 5 star rating gets more defense
    • I really like the features and the build
    • Good features considering price range
    • The features are excellent: the mute button is so brilliant that I want one on every pair of headphones I buy from now on
    • If I didn’t know plantrosonic have a app on phone, that feature would probably have been wasted
    • This feature works VERY well every time and is awesome if you use them at work and get interrupted often.-Very little sound
    • They sound better and have some amazing features, such as the Smart Sensors (music pauses when taking headphones off etc.)
    • At this rate those features will probably completely stop working in a few months
    • In a nutshell, buy if you don't need top notch Bose noise cancelling, but want good sound, decent noise cancelling and a bunch of other useful features.
    • Headset works as it suppose
