It's not silver other then that I like the games and its in great condition

Really upset about this console, it runs worse then my old big black ps2 an the only game I wanted to play on it won't work because the slim won't accept the memory card I had for the other console but it works for other games

So I'm not what you'd call a "light user."I highly recommend this console, and although there are much better games out now for the 7th generation consoles (360 and PS3), both of those are large and seem to have reliability problems that naturally come with higher technology.

this one still have very good games for it.

This is still a fun system and plays many of my classic favorite games.

and I like that I can afford a game for a fair price

I think it has frozen up on me twice in my entire ownership of it, during which time I have completed Gran Turismo 3 and 4, Burnout 3 and Revenge, Battlefront 1 and 2, SOCOM 1 and 4, CoD2, Corvette (a lousy game), Stuntman, and played numerous DVDs.

In all there are over one thousand games made for the PlayStation 2, and there are plenty of family friendly games as well

I own a PS3 but of course cannot play some of my favorite games from the PS2 era

Very good game playing machine.

I purchased this game and it worked well at first then started freezing on any game and didn't want to work

i would recommend this console to buy it, though there are new consoles (ps3, xbox 360) there are still good games for ps2 even if you could play them in ps3 this console is very portable

The Playstation 2 is an awesome system and it has many great games

Works perfectly, came with storage card, cords, 2 controllers, free games

Now I've never owned the older bulkier PlayStation 2 but I would like to say this one saves a lot more space and runs just as well, and I was surprised at how many neat games you can get for the PlayStation 2 that are not sold on the GameCube

, great graphics don't make a great game and there are tons of great games on the PlayStation 2, don't listen to the people who say the PlayStation 2 stinks, it's a great console and a great affordable buy.

Unfortunately, I was beyond the 90-day return limit for my purchase (from a retail store, not Amazon), and I only experienced a problem with select DVDs (all games worked fine), so I didn't pay the issue much mind.

The games are really good, it can play DVDs, and is great to have fun with friends offline (if you get a multi-tap) or online.

Kinda beat up but plays games like its suppose to guess that's all that matters looking to get your nostalgia on this is the one to buy.

so while i axniously waited on the product it had arrived where the console works fine the game
